Sweet Wines

Utilizing the white grapes of Chianti, drying before pressing, and aging in the special "Chiaretta" barrels gives this wine the distinct characteristics of Vin Santo. A slightly sweeter style is complimented by the distinct nuances of almonds and hazelnuts, vanilla, and oak tones followed by a silky smooth finish. Great as an after dinner drink with Cantucci (biscotti), gelato, and fruit pies.

A family owned winery established in 1861. Good intensity. An inviting nose of spice, honey, crystallized citrus fruits and pear. A smooth, rich mouth-feel, notes of dry fruits, apricot jam, marmalade and soft spice. Delicious.

Moscato d'Asti is one of the most sublime and delicate of all desert wines. The name "Nivole," which means "clouds" in Piedmontese dialect, appropriately suggests the wine's airy, elegant quality. The fragrant, intensely fruity bouquet, leads to a refined sweetness supported by an excellent acid balance on the palate, with a suggestion of effervescence in the texture. The finish is clean and crisp.

From 100% Orange Muscat with an aroma reminiscent of Orange Blossom and Apricot with a lingering refreshing aftertaste. Essensia is used as a dessert accompaniment or a dessert in itself.
