French - White: Loire

The wine is renowned for its intense aroma of 'green' fruit and freshly cut grass. On first tasting the wine, one is struck by the intensity of the gooseberry fruit but there is a dense mineral core with nuances of vanilla that gives the wine impressive presence. Simply delicious, this wine displays candied citrus and berry aromas and flavors accented by grain. On the dry side, it lingers nicely on the finish.

This Sancerre represents a pristine style of Sauvignon Blanc that shows expressiveness and balance. Very pure and clean, seeing no oak at all. Has a depth of flavor that is enhanced by fruit intensity, citrus fruits and green apple, with complex nuances of floral and soft mineral traces.
